Welcome to my website! I am a political scientist, linguist and internationalist. The following pages describe my education, work and experience, interests and latest endeavours.

I am currently a PhD Candidate in Politics at the University of Edinburgh. My research focuses on the the role of mainstream political party consensus in shaping Britain's EU policy. I am also the author of Britain's Europe, a blog on the politics of Britain's EU membership and UK-EU relations.

My main research interests are located in European integration and UK politics. Other interests include political theories of decision making, devolution, Europeanisation, comparative politics, public policy, legitimacy, US politics and international politics and institutions. Further details are in the Research section of the website.

I am strongly committed to education, civic engagement and publicly accessible knowledge. I also have a passion for languages and I support multilingualism as an enriching part of life.

I very much enjoy my PhD research. While academia will always play an important role in my life, beyond my doctoral studies I look forward to making a more direct impact in public policy in my areas of expertise.

I welcome inquires about my research or on possible collaboration related to my areas of interest. Please contact me through the relevant page of the website. For some of my latest thoughts, follow me on Twitter.

Thank you for visiting and best regards.
